PUBLIC ART

Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission.
“ Geometric Progression”
The idea for this piece is derived from various configurations of the Pythagorean Theorem,
a life-long theme in my work. Geometry is a teaching tool. It conveys order and balance visually.
It transmits a stability in our changing times and world.

Spagyric
Sacramento Library Charge Desk

Based on the shape of a book face up and face down this piece is a linear series of parallelograms
completely circumscribing the Sacramento Library Charge Desk, over 100 feet long, 4 feet high and 1”D in relief.
It rolls over doors, is flat around radius corners and dimensional along flat perimeters.
